Universal Gateway for High-Speed CAN Bus
This device is an active gateway (transparent bridge) that is installed by creating a break in a CAN bus. It features two CAN connections and provides bidirectional transfer of all messages between network segments, functioning as a repeater.
Its key feature is the programmability of complex traffic processing rules through custom scripts. This allows it to go beyond passive listening and actively influence data exchange.
Core Functions:
- Filtering & Blocking: Complete blocking of specific CAN messages based on their identifiers (ID).
- Message ID Modification: Dynamic reassignment of message identifiers on the fly.
- Data Field Modification: Alteration of the data payload within messages based on predefined algorithms.
Purpose: This tool is designed for the diagnosis, testing, and emulation of automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs). It enables isolation of components, simulation of their responses, and control over network interactions.
